Susan MacWilliam Born in Belfast in 1969, Susan MacWilliam represented Northern Ireland at the 2009
Venice Biennale. Susan is a lecturer in Fine Art at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Her video
works are held in the British Library Sound Archive. Solo exhibitions include Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda (2017),
FE McWilliam Gallery, Banbridge (2016); QUAD, Derby (2014); NN Contemporary Art, Northampton (2013);
Open Space, Victoria, BC (2012); aceart inc, Winnipeg (2010); Gimpel Fils, London (2008); Jack The Pelican,
New York (2008); Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin (2004); Cornerhouse, Manchester (2001) and Project Arts, Dublin
(1997). Group exhibitions include Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht (2015); The Agency, London (2015);
Heidelberger Kunstverein, Heidelberg (2014); MacWilliam was artist in residence on the PS1 International Studio
Programme, New York in 1999/2000 and has worked on residencies in Ireland, Trinidad, Slovenia, America and
Canada.
Michael Wilson is an art writer and editor - and occasional curator and artist - based in New York.
He is the author of How to Read Contemporary Art (Thames & Hudson Ltd., 2013), has also written for
Artforum, frieze, Garage, Modern Painters and The Wire, and has contributed to exhibition catalogues
published by Lisson Gallery, Matthew Marks Gallery, the New Museum, and the Photographers Gallery.
Michael was a co-founder of The Bedroom (1996), a domestic gallery in Belfast, Northern Ireland,
and BoBo's (1996-99), a similar space in London.
Peter Richards is an artist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He works in a range of media including
forms of photography, installation and performance, exploring interactions between re-presentation, time
and methods of referencing. He exhibits extensively in Ireland, UK and internationally. Recent solo
shows include: Millennium Court Arts Centre, Portadown 2014 (UK); Gymnasium Gallery, Berwick upon
Tweed (UK) (2007); Studio Lipoli & Lopez, Rome (IT) 2006; Paused II, Carnegie Museum & Art Gallery,
Larne(UK); 2005 ZDSLU Gallery, Ljubljana (SI); 2004 – Live, live art, Cornerhouse, Manchester (UK);

(IT)(2012) Peter is also the director of The Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast in which capacity he has
initiated and realised projects nationally and internationally. He is current Chair of the Belfast Visual Arts
Forum.
Kristin Lucas is an artist and director who converges digital media, performance, network art, interactive art, and installation. Her current work is made in partnership with conservation scientists and explores the impacts of human activity, climate and technological change on human-wildlife relationships. She is the recent recipient of an Engadget Alternate Realities Grant and a Pioneer Works Tech Residency. Her work has been presented at venues, such as: And/Or Gallery, Postmasters Gallery, Haus der Kunst, HeK Basel, and The Museum of Modern Art; and at festivals including: Cinekid, EarthxFilm, Print Screen, TIFF, Transmediale, and WSJ Future of Everything. Her videos are distributed by EAI. She lives between New York and Austin where she is faculty for the art department at University of Texas at Austin.
Margriet Honingh is a professional botanical artist. She studied botanical illustration under the expert instruction of Anita Walsmit Sachs, Anne Marie Evans, Helen Allen and Fiona Strickland and has been working as a professional botanical artist for more than fifteen years. She works, primarily, in watercolour, (colour)pencil and combinations of these media. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Recent group exhibitions include: Florentia International Exhibition of Botanical Art, Villa Bardini Limonaia, Florence, Italië (2018); Tradescant’s Orchard Garden Museum, London, United Kingdom (2017); BOLBLOEMEN ONDER DE LOEP Jubileum tentoonstelling Vereniging van Botanisch Kunstenaars Nederland, Museum de Zwarte Tulp, Lisse (2016); KEW Royal Botanic Garden, Shirley Sherwood Gallery, KEW England (2015)
She was a founding member of the Dutch Society of Botanical Artists (2006) and served as a Board member of the organisation until 2016. She also delivers workshops and courses in botanical drawing and painting in the botanical garden in Alkmaar, Noord Holland, The Netherlands.
